Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE), a division within IMD, celebrated its 25th birthday in 2018 and has made a name for itself since 1993 through countless shows at mines across South Africa and the African continent. Since the dawn of the new South Africa, the mining industry has undergone massive transformation. MTE’s 25 years in operation is proof of its successful adaptation to that transformation. Our longevity is testament to our pride and passion for innovation and demonstrations, along with our investment in a well-oiled system of shell schemes, tents and transport. MTE Philosophy is taking the exhibition to the heart of the mine IMD’s involvement in various industries enables us to think beyond the ‘space’ of advertising and exhibitions to fully understand the needs of our markets and become part of the sector. It is this broad-minded view that makes IMD so unique. Magnitech is proud to be associated with MTE.
Elinex is a group of member companies working together to hold regular shows through-out KZN, incorporating Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics and more recently Pneumatics companies.
The Elinex group has been actively holding shows since the mid-1990s and is a non-profit organization, run by a committee selected by the members at the annual AGM.
Our objective is to hold shows for the combined industries – in areas that are convenient to the trade, thereby saving the industries time and travel costs, in short, we bring the products to the various regions!
