MagFlex Overview

The MagFlex is a flexible industrial LED rope light engineered for tunnels, mine haulages, conveyors and other applications where continuous linear illumination is required over long distances. Operating at 48 V DC safe extra-low voltage (SELV), it provides a practical lighting platform for demanding industrial environments while reducing the number of electrical feed points required along an installation.

Available in 5 W/m and 8 W/m configurations, the MagFlex delivers up to 780 lm per metre from a flexible, non-toxic silicone body protected to IP67 and IK10. The modular plug-and-play architecture supports long continuous runs, while a separate stainless steel driver box supplies and stabilises power to the lighting system. An optional green indication version is also available for guidance applications.

    • A single driver-box output can supply a continuous MagFlex run of up to 50 metres, depending on the selected configuration.

    • Two independent outputs can each supply a MagFlex run of up to 50 metres, allowing lighting to extend in two directions from a central driver location.

    • Where longer continuous runs are required, the MagFlex can be supplied from both ends with dual-feed configurations supporting up to 100 metres between feed points.
